Moving Forward
Community Hub based at Westlands Community Centre
Our Moving Forward Project offers a wide range of services for Droitwich West residents and is funded by The National Lottery Fund.
Moving Forward has launched its ‘Community Fridge’ with the support of Tesco Community Grant, to help tackle food wastage.
The Community Fridge enables residents and businesses to share surplus food and for anyone to access quality food that would otherwise be wasted. We offer good quality surplus food completely free of charge, our service is not means tested and is open to all.

The Moving Forward Community Café is a welcoming space for all in the community to socialize over food and a hot drink.

Signposting and Support
Activities and Events
We hold fun family events and activities such as playgroups, cooking classes and family fun days!
We offer advice and one to one support where we can. We work with other organisations so we can help with referrals in order to problem solve and find sustainable solutions.
Volunteering Opportunties
We have voluntary roles available at our Community Hub. If you want to teach a skill, or help us with our fridge, we have varying opportunities for you!
