About the Role
As a Trustee Board Member you will be part of a strong Trustee Board with a shared vison for the organisation and a total commitment to the ethos and values of Onside and its work.
We are looking for additional Trustees to lead, guide and support our dynamic charity into the next phase of its development, as an increasingly challenging environment means our work and the services we provide, has never been more important.
The Board meets about 8 times a year and, in addition to individual specialist roles, members act jointly to provide strategic oversight and governance to the organisation.
Skills and Qualifications
We are we looking for?
We are seeking someone who shares our Onside ethos and values.
We are particularly keen to find new Trustees with some key skills and experience in social care or health but would be keen to hear from anyone who believes they may bring value to the Board and would like to support our work.
More people need our help than ever before. Because of that, we are growing faster than ever before and the role of a Trustee Board Member is a real opportunity to support a charity that aims to make a difference to people’s lives.
About the Organisation
ONSIDE is an independent charity promoting the rights and interests of people facing disadvantage. No matter who you are or where you’re from, ONSIDE believes that everyone is entitled to fair, equal treatment and opportunity. We are all about people; supporting and empowering them to make informed decisions and to live the very best life possible. It’s an ambitious goal, and the rewards can be lifechanging for those concerned. Our skilled staff and volunteers make a real difference to the lives of over 11,000 people a year across Worcestershire and Herefordshire.
