About the Role
Service Delivery Volunteers work alongside our staff teams to provide support to victims of crime helping them to move beyond crime via emotional and practical support both face to face and online.
To provide emotional and practical support to victims of crime over the telephone, online or face to face to help them recover and move beyond crime
Provide some administrative support to our teams to help them do more
The victim is communicated within a manner and at a level of regularity that is appropriate.
The victim is provided with the relevant practical and emotional support.
The victim is provided with relevant information about other agencies and the relevant systems and structures.
Providing high quality support to enable victims to recover from the effects of crime
Enabling victims to move beyond the effects of crime
To provide the services in a way that best suits the needs of clients
Skills and Qualifications
Excellent communication skills
Ability to communicate via telephone, face to face, video calls and/or Whatsapp
Knowledge of the Criminal Justice System
Approachable and non-judgemental manner.
Good listening and verbal communication skills.
Ability to self-reflect.
Basic IT skills.
Ability to volunteer within our values, policies and procedures.

It doesn’t matter when the crime took place, or whether you’ve reported it to the police. You can get our help at any time, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
We’re independent from the police, and our support is free and confidential.
