About the Role
We have two roles in CMH:
CMH Volunteer
CMH Peer Support Volunteer
In both roles you will be joining a partnership that is transforming neighbourhood community mental health services in Worcestershire. This partnership provides a range of support designed to address the wider social and practical needs of people living with mental ill health. Community Mental Health volunteers will work directly with adults (over 18) living with a range of mental health conditions.
Skills and Qualifications
We are seeking people who have:
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build trust and offer a holistic, solutions focused approach to individual issues
You will have, or be willing to learn, basic computer literacy skills in order to log your contact / work on our database system.
Able to network and build effective working relationships
Maintaining boundaries and ensuring clarity and understanding of the role
