Our Services
Droitwich Spa & Rural Council for Voluntary (DCVS) offers the following services to local voluntary and community groups :
- Community rooms and office space at the Old Library Centre at very competitive rates.
- Advice on fund-raising and making applications for grant aid from Local Authorities, Trusts and the National Lottery.
- PAYE services plus help with recruitment, job descriptions and contracts of employment.
- Assistance with drafting policies and procedures to ensure good practice.
- Administrative support through the Resource Centre and production of newsletters and minutes.
- Information about constitutions, charitable status and the Charities Act.
- Training and resources including the role of Management Committees and their officers, minute taking and simple book-keeping.
- Facilitation and mediation during difficult times.
In addition, the DCVS runs the local Community Transport Scheme.
