Community Transport is a vital service, helping the elderly and disabled residents of Droitwich and the surrounding rural area.
It is a service for those who can not use public transport and have no alternative method of travelling to access services and remain independent.
This scheme can provide transport to and from shops, doctors appointments and social activities. The service is delivered by volunteers using their own vehicles, so is always subject to their availability.
We accept Concessionary Bus Passes/Tokens on the above schemes (with a £2.00 administration fee payable on each journey). Alternatively a cash fare is payable.
There are two accessible minibuses available for Non-Profit making organisations/ groups to hire including evenings and weekends.
For further information on the eligibility criteria for the above services please call the office.
We are always looking for volunteers to become part of the Transport Team. You can help out as a volunteer driver on the Community Transport Scheme or you could volunteer time in the Transport Office taking telephone bookings.
If you think you can help please call for a chat.
There is an answer phone service when staff are unavailable - just leave your name and number and the Transport staff will return your call.
