Community Car Scheme

Community Transport Picture of a car, minibus and MPV run by Droitwich Community TransportThis community scheme helps residents of Droitwich Spa and the surrounding rural areas, who cannot use conventional public transport or they do not have access to an alternative method of travelling due to their age, mobility difficulties or a disability.

This scheme is delivered by volunteers drivers who provide door to door transport either in a car or a wheelchair adapted vehicle.

It provides transport for  doctors, hospital appointments, dentist, opticians, day centres, social activities or visiting friends and family.

You must register for the service and bookings need to be made with at least two working days notice. The cost of the scheme is based on the miles travelled whilst you are in the vehicle and any passengers with a valid concessionary bus pass will receive a subsidised fare.


  • Anyone who is unable to use conventional public transport due to personal mobility difficulties
  • No public transport available
  • Must be a resident of the following parishes:
    Crowle, Dodderhill, Doverdale, Droitwich, Hadzor, Hampton Lovett, Hanbury, Hartlebury, Himbleton, Hindlip, Martin Hussingtree, North Claines, Oddingley, Ombersley, Salwarpe, Westwood.
