Droitwich Spa and Rural Council for Voluntary Service is a strong local voice for the local voluntary and community sector in Droitwich Spa and the surrounding rural area. We aim to ensure communities are well served by the local civil sector by supporting and working with over 350 local groups, organisations and key community leaders.

Droitwich Spa and Rural Council for Voluntary Service (DCVS) believe that local voluntary and community action is vital for healthy and inclusive communities.
We provide our members with networking opportunities, specialist advice, support, policy information and training. DCVS is a vital bridge between local groups and the local, regional and national government.

In addition, our Resource Centre is the ideal place to hold meetings, training and events. The centre is also equipped with colour copier, scan printer, franking machine, computers with internet access and other equipment to help you run your group.
We also provide a local volunteer recruitment and signposting service for individuals looking to volunteer and groups seeking to recruit new volunteers.

DCVS is the local provider of Community Transport addressing inequality issues where public transport is limited or difficult to access. Community Transport is an essential lifeline for many clients living in both urban and rural areas; we facilitate access to primary healthcare and hospital appointments and we also provide transport for shopping, day centre’s and other social activities reducing the risk of exclusion through social or rural isolation.
